The Redesigned 2026 Model. Now featuring a food-grade stained floor, reinforced steel center supports, and integrated forklift slots for effortless pasture rotation.
Our heavy-duty hinged lid lets you drop a bare round bale right in with your tractor or skid steer—turning a frustrating chore into a 2-minute breeze. Redesigned for 2026, the base now features integrated forklift slots making it easier than ever to move for pasture rotation.
The built-in 1.8” heavy-duty mesh mimics natural grazing, slows down greedy eaters, and stops your expensive hay from being trampled into the dirt. Now featuring a food-grade stained floor, your hay stays completely off the ground, eliminating bottom-bale rot.
Built with a solid steel frame and thick, durable timber to handle summer storms and playful horses. For 2026, we’ve added a heavy-duty metal support bar in the middle to guarantee zero bowing under massive bales. Plus, every feeder is finished with our signature burnt-wood mountain and wildlife designs.
Price: $1400 Stop losing money to trampled, wasted hay. Traditional open-bottom rings allow horses to pull out excess hay, trampling up to 30% of a bale into a mud mattress. By combining our 1.8" slow-feed netting to prevent "slugging" with our brand-new food-grade floor, the 2026 Alberta Bale Feeder ensures every flake gets eaten. This isn't just a feeder; it's an investment that literally pays for itself in the hay you save over a couple of winters.

What size bales will fit, and how do I load them?
Our standard hinged top-load feeders easily accommodate massive round bales up to 6 feet 10 inches. Just lift the lid and drop the bale straight in with your tractor. Don't have a loader that lifts that high? No problem—we also custom-build front-loaded feeders. Just let us know what you need when you order!
Do you deliver, or is it pick-up only?
You are welcome to pick up your feeder directly from eagle hill, Alberta, at no extra cost. If you need it brought to your farm, we also offer delivery across Alberta for an additional fee. Just text or call us with your location for a quick quote.
What are the exact dimensions of the standard feeder?
Our standard custom slow-feed round bale feeder measures a spacious 6' 10" wide by 6' 10" long, and sits at a highly accessible 32" tall.
Can I get a custom size or a different net size?
Absolutely. While our standard is a 6'10" x 6'10" frame with a 1.8" slow-feed mesh, we can customize both the dimensions and the netting size to perfectly fit your farm's needs. (Note: Custom orders require a 50% upfront deposit, and prices will vary).
